Future Library podcast episode 19 is now available for your listening pleasure featuring Momus and Paul McGarrigle aka McGazz.
Alex has been busy moving house, hence the bit of a gap since the last podcast.
That sort of thing is always stressful. I mean, how long would you go without your internet connection? That’s too scary to bear thinking about.
The latest installment of music and tech chat is yet another excellence slice of podcast perfection. Episode 19 features Momus (who I’d somehow never heard of before) and Paul McGarrigle aka McGazz (who previously fronted Glasgow electro-pop group My Legendary Girlfriend). A quick Google search later and I’m thinking I should really know who Momus is. Or maybe I shouldn’t. It’s not like I should know every person on this planet who makes music. That would be exhausting. As with Gary Marshall, I have huge respect for McGazz and could happily listen to the banter all day.
As the podcast series progresses at its own pace, I’m liking the natural progression to music and tech chat that deals with obscure music and popular tech themes in equal measure.
If anyone has any ideas for future episodes feel free to say hi to Alex on Twitter - I’m still holding out for a discussion on Scotland’s contribution to the world of comic-books. Mostly because it’s something I occasionally enjoy and know so very little about it!
Episode 19 is available to stream from the homepage now.
