Musician Jonathan Dick of Edinburgh band Curators talks to Alex about breaking up bands, getting married, Dundee, and Scottish independence.
It’s been an eventful birthday weekend for me. Largely involved wandering around Glasgow’s West End cafes and watching the film Inside Llewyn Davis at the GFT, after we’d browsed the Jack Vettriano painting exhibition at Kelvingrove Museum. Thankfully I don’t have to think too hard this evening as the latest installment of Future Library is ready to go.
That said, the Coen Brothers’ latest slice of cinema excellence may inspire a ‘failed musician’ post in this upcoming week. Of course failure is an incredibly subjective term and it’s a debate I’ll reserve for another time.
The story behind Edinburgh’s Curators follows if you listen to the podcast. Enjoy!
